Senior Project & Program Manager (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Looking for an experienced professional to lead and execute mission-critical projects from inception to completion. This role is not just about tracking; it is about taking end-to-end ownership. You will act as the bridge between cross functional teams and senior executives, ensuring that initiatives—ranging from technology deployments to HR transformations or even marketing events and activations—are delivered balancing customer centricity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Execution: Own the full project lifecycle for diverse workstreams, including technology, HR transformation, and special projects.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Navigate complex networks of multiple internal and external stakeholders, maintaining alignment across challenging schedules.
  • Executive Presence: Confidently present project statuses to senior executive leadership and manage upward feedback to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Solution-Oriented Problem Solving: Identify potential bottlenecks early and proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Escalation Management: Step in as the primary point of contact for project issues, resolving conflicts before they become critical risks.
  • Balanced Delivery: between high-touch customer centricity and the pragmatic realities of internal process and capacity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Experience: 7–10 years of experience in project/program management, with a proven track record of handling scale and complexity.
  • Technical Foundation: A mandatory technical background (degree or hands-on experience) to effectively communicate with engineering and IT teams.
  • Government Sector Advantage: Prior experience working on government projects is a definite advantage
  • Agile & Adaptable: Ability to switch between different project types (e.g., a software rollout, a special project next).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, handling herarchies, upward management and executive-level reporting.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certifications: While not mandatory, PMP, PRINCE2, or PgMP certifications are a strong plus.
  • Mindset: A hands on approach, ability to plan and strategize, quick thinking and the ability to see the big picture.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
