Senior Projects Engineer

The Senior Projects Engineer will oversee and manage engineering projects from conception through to completion. This role involves collaboration with various teams, ensuring all engineering tasks align with the strategic goals of Hyde Park Developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing contractors and supervising consultants to ensure all project deliverables are met in alignment with target revenue, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitoring and controlling overall project performance and site progress against the approved baseline schedule.
• Taking proactive measures to address delays, mitigate their impact, and recover progress to meet project deadlines.
• Managing and resolving conflicts arising between consultants and contractors to maintain smooth project execution.
• Reviewing and recommending project modifications through the change request process, including assessment of associated cost and time impacts.
• Ensuring successful project closeout, including client acceptance, defects rectification, issuance of taking-over certificates, and seamless area handover to Operations and Facility Management departments.
• Coordinating with internal departments — including Development, Handover, Facility Management, and Community teams — to support project delivery and achieve target revenue.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in project management within the construction/engineering sector.
• Contractor construction company experience is a must at mega projects
• Previous experience at commercial projects and interior finishes is preferable.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management software and engineering applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being a self-starter.
