Senior Purchase Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to join our Pune office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of international sourcing experience across the USA, Europe, Japan, and India, with strong technical knowledge, proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage international sourcing to ensure competitive pricing and timely procurement.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers.
• Handle procurement of MRO items, mechanical/electrical components, tools, and industrial equipment.
• Ensure all technical specifications and brand requirements are accurately met.
• Work independently to resolve procurement challenges and streamline processes.
• Guide and support junior team members, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships across USA, Europe, Japan, South East Asia, and the Middle East.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in international sourcing/procurement for Oil & Gas, Mining, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills; strong problem-solving mindset; ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
