Purpose:
Execution & monitoring of P2P (Procure to Pay) Sourcing Activities for Parts Procurement from India and Focus on sourcing initiatives, Localization, cost optimization, supplier development and global stakeholder coordination to drive savings and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate meetings with global stakeholders and internal teams. Coordinate sourcing initiatives and maintain a clear pipeline for cost-saving packages / projects Collaboration with Global Category Managers for strategic alignment. - Drive Localization in the area for increasing sourcing opportunities with cost competitive solutions.
- Ensuring data management on SharePoint folders with regular updates.
- Understanding the RFQ requirements and preparing should cost.
- Floating RFQ’s to potential suppliers from approved suppliers and get the quotations.
- Negotiate long term contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Cost comparison, offer preparation & submission to Stakeholders.
- Preparation of PO & SOs in BAAN/Infor LN with maintaining the Budgets of Projects, as per Purchase Policy Guidelines, along with preparation of Techno-Commercial Analysis Sheet.
- Issuing PO to suppliers and submission of SO to Customer.
- Arranging KOM with Suppliers and Customers, as required & Timely Expediting in line with QC Inspectors for aligning inspections as per QAP Stages.
- Co-Ordinating with Logistics for invoicing, vehicle arrangement and dispatch.
- Claim settlement and Quality marking in BAAN/Info LN, in case of any monetary claim for project / order executed.
- Invoice Signing and Timely Payment Advice to Finance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
- To ensure the updating of supplier database in compass, when new updates are available.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to enhance collaboration, performance, and innovation.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluation to ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

To Succeed in this Role, you will need:
Qualification: Diploma / bachelor’s degree in engineering
Experience: 5+ Years of Experience in relevant field of service.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills & self-driven
- Ability to lead sourcing initiatives and savings projects (Pipeline Planning & Reporting)
- Familiarity with global procurement practices & strategic procurement
- Good Analytical & Engineering Skills. (Interpretation of Drawings etc.)
- Technical & Commercial Understanding
- Soft skills like MS-office, hands-on experience on any ERP/BAAN etc.
