Senior Purchasing

Description

IRP systems is developing the next generation of high-performance e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market and we are seeking for a Senior Purchasing to join our team.

You’ll be responsible for the following

• Source and qualify potential suppliers for Mechanical components & Knowledge of electronic components, tools, and equipment.
• Build and manage relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payments, lead times to secure favourable terms.
• Place timely purchase orders to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Continuous monitoring and coordination of purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
• Ensure all procurement documentation is accurately maintained in ERP system.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure supplier quality and compliance with specifications.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; implement contingency plans as needed.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain
• Manage import/export processes for local and international procurement, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and optimizing logistics efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.

- Experience working with suppliers across multiple disciplines - mechanical, electrical, electronics, etc.

• Significant experience purchasing electronic components and mechanical parts.
• Knowledge of quality management frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity in working with ISO900.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
