Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Selenium, Core Java, and BDD frameworks using Cucumber. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing robust automation frameworks and test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium with Java.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber, and write feature files and step definitions.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the automation framework and application under test.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvements of test frameworks.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Core Java (must-have).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Solid experience with BDD and Cucumber.
• Understanding of testing methodologies – functional, regression, integration, smoke, etc.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• Must be available for virtual interviews on 27th & 28th September (weekend).
• Immediate joiners only will be considered.
• Candidates must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate immediately (no remote options).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
