Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with 6–8 years of expertise in Mobile/Web Application Testing and Automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong manual testing fundamentals, hands-on experience in mobile network testing (2G/3G/4G/5G), offline testing scenarios, and automation expertise using Katalon Studio and BrowserStack.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure high-quality mobile releases across various network conditions and device environments.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform end-to-end manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS).

● Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Katalon Studio.

● Execute test cases on real devices and cloud platforms like BrowserStack.

● Conduct 2G/3G/4G/5G network testing to validate application performance under varying network conditions.

● Perform offline testing to validate application behavior in low/no network scenarios.

● Validate data synchronization and recovery mechanisms during connectivity fluctuations.

● Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

● Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements.

● Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and regression cycles in Agile environments.

● Ensure quality standards and release readiness across multiple builds and versions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 6–8 years of experience in Mobile Application Testing.

● Strong expertise in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke, UAT).

● Hands-on experience in Mobile Automation using Katalon Studio.

● Experience working with BrowserStack for cross-device and cross-browser testing.

● Good understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G network testing scenarios.

● Experience in offline mode testing and data synchronization validation.

● Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

● Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

● Experience with API testing (Postman/Rest Assured).

● Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

● Understanding of mobile app performance testing tools.

● Exposure to test reporting and automation framework design.
