Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for façade and aluminum projects based in Al Quoz, Dubai.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all fabrication and installation works comply with project specifications, international quality standards, and UAE authority regulations. This role demands strong expertise in façade systems, factory inspections, site quality control, and coordination with consultants and third-party inspectors.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Planning & Implementation

• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), QA/QC procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Establish quality benchmarks and inspection checklists aligned with project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

Inspection & Compliance

• Conduct inspections for fabrication, assembly, glazing, installation, and finishing works (factory & site).
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, BS, EN, ISO standards and UAE authority requirements.
• Oversee mock-ups, performance testing, and façade air/water infiltration tests.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, project teams, and third-party inspectors.
• Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection records, and quality dashboards.
• Participate in progress meetings and technical reviews.

Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions

• Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Track NCR closure and ensure proper documentation.

Documentation & Equipment Control

• Review and approve material submittals, samples, and technical documents.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection/testing equipment.
• Ensure document control and version management.

Team Leadership & Training

• Mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Conduct internal quality training sessions.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of QA/QC experience in aluminum and façade projects (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of façade systems: curtain wall, cladding, glazing, skylights, louvers, ACP, unitized systems.
• Experience in both factory QA/QC and site inspections.
• Thorough understanding of ASTM, BS, EN, ISO standards and UAE regulations.
• Experience working with consultants and third-party testing agencies in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation systems.

Preferred Skills

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of façade performance standards (CWCT, AAMA).
• Familiarity with UAE authority approvals (DM, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense).
• Strong problem-solving skills with tools like 5 Why & Root Cause Analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
