Summary
The Senior Quality Analyst ensures compliance with quality standards by overseeing quality assurance programs across all Saudi Arabia locations and supporting the global HMH organization on quality-related issues. This role champions global quality programs, processes, tools, and initiatives, driving both compliance and excellence.
Job Responsibilities
  • Act as the local ambassador for global quality programs, tools, and strategies at the Dammam facility, ensuring compliance and fostering organizational excellence
  • Lead the creation, editing, and review of quality documents to ensure alignment with API, HMH, and customer standards and support the HMH Operating System (OS)
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve inspection and testing procedures in line with the OS
  • Oversee daily inspection planning, resource allocation, and routine quality control activities—including calibration and control testing
  • Proactively manage and reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) by driving solutions with project teams
  • Provide trend analysis on quality metrics, identify systemic issues, and support data-driven decision making
  • Drive closure of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), support root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Plan, execute, and report on internal and supplier audits (API Q1 / ISO 9001), including leading kick-off and pre-inspection meetings with vendors
  • Define, develop, and implement effective inspection test and quality plans for critical projects, and establish quality control policies and procedures.
  • Determine quality requirements for purchased items as needed and ensure strict supply chain compliance.
  • Lead training on the HMH Operating System, continually developing the skills and competency of quality and inspection teams.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering, customers, and suppliers on all quality issues.
  • Support and help advance local and global Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) initiatives, collaborating with HSSE teams, and acting as a technical advisor.
  • Manage and deliver all relevant certification documentation—including Certificates of Conformance (COC), Certificates of Service (COS), and Statements of Fact (SOF)—for overhaul, repair, and service activities.
  • Oversee manufacturing and repair databooks for pressure control equipment
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in an engineering-related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering), or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional level experience.in the pressure control equipment in offshore and land markets. A minimum of 4 years in roles related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), with project management responsibilities, and an additional 4 years in QA/QC. Proven experience leading or supporting internal/external audits (ISO 9001, API Q1), including full completion and closure of findings. Advanced knowledge of manufacturability, process design, validation, testing, and assembly. Advanced proficiency in statistical process control and data analysis
Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and lead broad and cross-functional teams. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) preferred. Experience in root cause analysis (RCA), process improvement, and nonconformance management. Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher), Lean Manufacturing, or equivalent professional qualification. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus. ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor certification or deep experience with API Q1/ISO 9001 audit requirements. Experience with system integration (SAP, Windchill, Infobay) is desirable. Ability to present complex, data-rich topics clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
