Senior Quality Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The QA Analyst Engineer is a strong technical individual with skills for meticulously testing and analyzing software applications or products to ensure that they meet established quality standards. The QA analyst will be responsible for identifying the defects, work closely with development team to get the issues resolved, and generate high quality user experience; requiring strong analytical skills, attention to details and proficiency in testing methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and review comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and specifications
• Execute manual and automated tests across various browsers
• Conduct regression testing to verify existing functionalities are not impacted by new changes.

• Monitor Test execution and track progress against established timelines. • Identity and log defects accurately, including detailed description, screenshots and replication steps in the defect management system

• Monitor defect resolution and ensure timely closure.
• Verify expected functionality using both inspections of the UI response and SQL queries against the underlying database.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
• Actively participate in grooming sessions to understand the scope of the functionality
• Support the rest of the QA team to ensure released software is of an exceedingly high quality and in compliance with industry regulations, such as 21CFR Part 11

. • Be able to deploy the builds from CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Assist in the development of documentation for the validation effort.
• Should be able to step up and help with automated testing scripts

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Experience in different testing phases (functional, regression, performance, usability).
• Basic understanding of database concepts and ability to write SQL queries for data validation
• Experience with CI/CD tools – Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of reporting issues in defect tracking system, preferably JIRA

. • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

• Experience in automation tool preferably Selenium is a plus.

• At least 3 years' experience as a QA Analyst/Tester • At least one year experience with QA Automation tools Selenium and Java
