Senior Quality Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in e-commerce platforms and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will ensure our platform maintains the highest standards of quality, stability, and performance.
This role is designed for someone who can eventually lead the QA team, establish quality processes, and mentor junior testers as the department grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end test plans & test cases for web and mobile e-commerce flows.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Validate data correctness through SQL queries on backend databases.
• Execute performance/load testing and analyse bottlenecks.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar ticketing tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, UI/UX designers to ensure accurate implementation.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts (Selenium/Appium/Katlon studio).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Ensure every release meets quality benchmarks, security standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Help define QA processes, testing standards, and documentation.
• Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers and support future team-building efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of overall QA experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience testing e-commerce platforms (Mandatory).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end testing across full e-commerce lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with API Testing.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for database testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner).
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr.
• Knowledge of automation testing (Selenium/Appium / Katlon Studio) is a strong plus.
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS) for e-commerce or corporate products.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing processes.
