JOB OBJECTIVE:
To lead, govern, and continuously enhance Quality Assurance, Business Process Excellence, and Document Management systems across the Operations & Maintenance function, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, ISO-based management systems, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence objectives.
Description
Quality Assurance & Management Systems

Establish, maintain, and continuously improve O&M Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with ISO standards, corporate policies, and industry best practices.

Define quality governance frameworks, controls, and assurance mechanisms across preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Lead internal quality audits, gap assessments, and management reviews for O&M processes.

Review and approve contractor and vendor quality plans, procedures, and method statements related to O&M activities.

Monitor quality performance trends, non-conformances, corrective actions, and closure effectiveness.

Act as the O&M focal point for internal, external, and certification audits
Business Process Excellence & Governance

Lead the development, review, and optimization of O&M policies, procedures, SOPs, guidelines, and workflows.

Ensure processes are practical, risk-based, and aligned with actual field execution.

Conduct periodic effectiveness reviews to ensure procedures deliver intended operational outcomes.

Support digital transformation initiatives related to CMMS, mobile execution, digital checklists, and workflow automation.

Provide structured inputs to EVP-O&M on process risks, improvement opportunities, and operational governance gaps
Document Management & Information Governance

Own and govern the Operations & Maintenance Document Management System (DMS) in line with corporate document control standards, ensuring effective document lifecycle management covering creation, review, approval, revision, retention, and archival.

Ensure that only current and approved documents are readily available to plant and execution teams, while coordinating closely with IT and corporate stakeholders to enhance system functionality, access control, and data integrity.

Maintain strict confidentiality, security, and legal compliance for all critical O&M records, including contracts, guarantees, and technical documentation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Equivalent), with experience in document control, quality assurance and management systems is essential

Professional certifications in Quality, ISO Management Systems, or Business Excellence are preferred
B. Minimum Experience

Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Business Process Excellence, or Management Systems within large industrial, utility, energy, or infrastructure organizations
