Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Mumbai
Project: Mumbai Metro Rail Project by RVNL
Department: Quality Assurance / Civil Engineering

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience in civil engineering works.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil and structural construction of 66 kV or above GIS Substations.
• Experience in large infrastructure projects such as metro rail, railways, power plants, or utility substations preferred.
• Thorough understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection systems, and quality documentation.

Quality Planning & Implementation

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and method statements for civil works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and relevant standards (IS, IRC, IEC, CEA, etc.).
• Monitor adherence to approved construction drawings and technical submittals.

Inspection & Testing

• Conduct stage-wise inspections of foundation works, RCC structures, steel structures, cable trenches, equipment foundations, and control room buildings for GIS substations.
• Verify quality of materials including cement, steel, aggregates, structural steel, and finishing materials.
• Witness testing of concrete (cube tests), reinforcement checks, structural alignment, and other QA tests.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and laboratory testing.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and relevant standards (IS, IRC, IEC, CEA, etc.).
• Monitor adherence to approved construction drawings and technical submittals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
