Senior Manager, Quality Assurance

Location: North Andover, MA

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Gabriele & Company is working with a growing manufacturer of electromechanical products that seeks an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to drive quality processes throughout the product lifecycle. Our facility produces innovative equipment combining mechanical fabrication, electronics, and solar technology.

Position Summary:

This hands-on role owns the quality function and reports to the Plant Manager. You'll lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors (2-3 direct reports) while driving improvements in incoming inspection, process quality, and quality management systems. This position requires energy, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead quality assurance for electromechanical systems and PCBA
• Manage incoming inspection operations and drive process improvements
• Oversee ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management systems
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering on process quality initiatives
• Develop supplier evaluation programs, business reviews, and corrective actions
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive/corrective actions
• Support DFM initiatives and new product introductions
• Establish inspection methodologies and test plans
• Monitor quality metrics and lead problem-solving with teams and suppliers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years as in QA/QE roles with 7+ as Quality Manager
• Strong background in electromechanical and electronics assembly
• Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing
• Expertise in FMEA, SPC, Process Characterization, and GR&R
• Knowledge of IPC and ISO standards
• Ability to lead teams and drive results in dynamic environments
