Quality Assurance Specialist – ERP
Location: Onsite in Kansas City, MO
Pay Rate: $75/hr-80/hr
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist – ERP to join a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products in support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role plays a crucial part in driving customer satisfaction and software excellence through hands-on testing and collaboration throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
As a QA Specialist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, delivery team members, and stakeholders to ensure that software products meet business requirements and user expectations. This position involves a wide range of testing methodologies, including manual, regression, performance, and exploratory testing.
Responsibilities:

Integrate quality assurance practices into the SDLC by working closely with delivery team members and stakeholders.

Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for ERP systems throughout the development lifecycle.

Manage and report on defects using established tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), providing clear reproduction steps and expected results.

Support business stakeholders during user acceptance testing (UAT).

Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and exploratory testing.

Validate accessibility compliance based on standards such as WCAG, ADA, and Section 508.

Advocate for quality across all phases of the software development process.

Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices.

Stay up to date with modern QA tools, methodologies, and industry best practices

Contribute to a community of practice with other QA professionals.
Qualifications:

Hands-on QA testing or software development experience (ERP systems preferred)

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Proficiency with defect tracking/test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, XRay) is a plus

High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience working in Agile development environment

Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a fast-paced team setting

ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications are a plus
