Senior Quality Control Engineer - Civil/Mechanical/Electrical

Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Control Engineer to oversee and ensure compliance with SEC standards, IEC/IEEE codes, and local regulations across EHV/HV substation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Civil, or Electrical engineering, and a proven track record in quality assurance within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Project Quality Control Plan, ITPs, Method Statements, and construction for EHV/HV Substation projects, in accordance with SEC specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, and SEC representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
• Act as a coordination point for Subcontractor audits and reviews of Subcontractor quality control programs.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action plans.
• Review and verify technical documents, drawings, and method statements for compliance.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in EHV/HV substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SEC standards, IEC/IEEE codes, and local regulations.
• Familiarity with QA/QC tools, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Certification in ISO 9001, QA/QC, or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
