Responsibilities:
Our newest opportunity is for a Senior Electrical Engineer MV/LV to join our team based in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We envisage success in this role to include;
  • Ensures that the contractor is performing the required contract work in accordance with the shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Reads shop drawings and understands electrical narratives and calculations
  • Reviewing drawings: Ensure design, shop, and as-built drawings adhere to local regulations, international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC), and project specifications.
  • Electrical systems: Oversee power distribution, lighting systems, lighting control systems, load schedules, protection system settings, and the integration of key MV/LV equipment such as generators, transformers, RMUs, and UPS systems.
  • SCADA systems and equipment integration: Design, test, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for MV/LV networks, ensuring seamless integration with equipment such as transformers, RMUs, and generators.
  • ETAP review or experience: Perform or review load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and transient analysis using ETAP.
  • Testing and commissioning: Supervise and validate factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) of MV/LV systems and equipment, including lighting and lighting control systems, to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Closeout documentation: Prepare and review operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, as-built drawings, handover documentation, and final project reports. Coordinate with clients and relevant authorities for final approvals and inspections.
  • Coordination with stakeholders: Collaborate with design teams, contractors, project managers, and utility companies to ensure compliance with project requirements and the smooth execution of MV/LV systems.
  • Observes onsite construction and determines if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly
  • Ensures contractor's work is properly inspected and corrective actions take place, ensures materials meet contract, reviews contractor submittals for compliance with contract requirements, and resolves conflicts

Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Knowledge of local and International Codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office for the preparation of reports.
