We Are Hiring – Electrical Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure | Consultant Background)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in road and infrastructure projects to join our consultant team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, supervising, and ensuring the quality of electrical and electro-mechanical works associated with roads, including street lighting, traffic signals, ITS systems, and power supply for infrastructure facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve electrical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise installation of street lighting systems, feeder pillars, cables, and control panels.
• Oversee implementation of traffic signals, ITS systems, and related road electrical works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority regulations (MOT, MOMRA, SEC), and international standards (IEC, NEC, BS/EN, IEEE).
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and utility teams to resolve design/site conflicts.
• Monitor quality control and testing of electrical equipment and cabling.
• Review contractors’ method statements, ITPs, and test results.
• Attend site inspections, progress meetings, and prepare consultant reports.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are followed during execution of electrical works.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in road and infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience with a consultant/supervision company is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of street lighting, traffic signal systems, and underground electrical utilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi authority requirements (MOT, MOMRA, SEC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
