Reports directly to Site Quality Lead.
Support Site Quality Lead in all matters.
Deputise for Site Quality Lead when required.
Attend Site Construction Meetings as required.
Ensures Site Quality Lead is kept aware of all site issues.
Implementation of the Construction QC Strategy.
Provide guidance to Worley Construction Team in QA and QC matters.
To evaluate radiographic images and be the approval signatory on such reports.
Carry out routine inspections of Mechanical, Welding & Coating activities as defined in the approved Inspection and Test Plans.
Carry out routine surveillances of all construction activities.
To participate in Mechanical walkdowns.
Contribute technical experience to problem solving.
Review of Facilities Contractors’ and Subcontractors’ CQPs, Procedures and ITPs for adequacy and to ensure that they support the overall QC Strategy and Quality Objectives of the project.
Provision of Quality support and guidance in managing Facilities Contractors and Subcontractors to ensure that their work is performed safely and consistent with approved Plans, Procedures and ITPs.
Support the Project Quality Manager in audit programs for Site Audits and Surveillances to monitor construction activities of Worley Construction Team, Facilities Contractors and their Subcontractors.
Reporting of non-conformance and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor competency of Facilities Contractors’ and Subcontractors’ nominated Quality Leads and Discipline Inspectors through continual surveillance.
Assist in the running of training programs/workshops for introduction of new practices or for identified QMS weaknesses for the attendance and participation of BP, Worley, Facilities Contractors and Subcontractors.
To promote the Right First Time philosophy across the Project.
Compilation of Daily reports.
Review progress and compliance by selected Facility Contractors for Pipe Tracker.
Review progress and completion of Quality Dossiers when required.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma in Engineering discipline or approved equivalent. (Required)
B Gas CSWIP Snr Pipeline Inspector Gr 2 or CSWIP 3.2.2 / 3.2.1 plus Radiographic interpreter. (Required)
B Gas CSWIP Site Coatings or Painting Inspector 2. / NACE 2 / ICORR 2 (Required)
IRCA approved training as Lead Auditor (Desired)
10 years’ experience in Oil and Gas related industry. (Required)
5 years’ experience in Quality Control. (Required)
Experience in NDT processes – MPI, DPI, UT, PAUT (Required)
Experience in leading Quality Audits. (Desired)
