Senior Quality Engineer

Duties:

• Collaborate with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Design and develop test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual tests to identify defects, issues, and areas for improvement in software applications, systems, or services.
• Log, track, and manage defects and issues throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide input on testing efforts and communicate test progress.
• Analyze test results and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and present findings to management.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, and test cycles, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to quality control to continuously improve processes and procedures.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-7 years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer in a software development environment.
• Mobile Testing Experience is a must.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proficiency in using test management and bug tracking tools, such as JIRA, TFS, or similar.
• Provin experience in Agile development methodologies.
