Senior Quality Engineer

Job Purpose: For Quality Executive level , any industry experience is ok for us, but for manager/Sr.Quality engineer job wood industry/interior experience is must.

To ensure consistent product quality across raw materials, manufacturing, finishing, and installation by implementing quality standards, inspections, and corrective actions in wood-based products.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Planning & Control

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for wood products (furniture, panels, joinery, modular units).
• Prepare and maintain Quality Inspection Plans (QIP), checklists, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

2. Incoming Material Inspection

• Inspect raw materials such as plywood, MDF, particle board, solid wood, laminates, veneers, hardware, adhesives, and finishes.
• Verify supplier quality and raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) when required.
• Coordinate with procurement for supplier corrective actions.

3. In-Process & Final Inspection

• Monitor quality at cutting, CNC, edge banding, assembly, polishing, finishing, and packing stages.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, joint quality, and hardware fitment.
• Conduct final inspections before dispatch or site installation.

4. Site & Installation Quality (if applicable)

• Ensure installation quality at project sites as per approved drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Attend snag lists, handover inspections, and client walkthroughs.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inspection records, test reports, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
• Prepare quality performance reports and trend analysis.
• Support ISO / internal / client audits.

6. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze defects, rejections, and customer complaints.
• Implement root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce rework, wastage, and cost.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
