Purpose:
Provide support to the VP Manufacturing and Operations Management and all other staff and oversee the Quality responsibilities for the KSA.
Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
- Assume responsibility for the overall management and development of the Quality function in the KSA.
- Responsible for leading the overall product and process quality for the KSA location.
- Management Representative for the Quality Management System.
- Deliver a robust, best-in-class corporate governance, advisory and operational support across the full spectrum of Quality matters.
- Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
- Lead quality team in investigations of non-conformances and customer issues.
- Shape and improve current QMS strategies and policies, systems and procedures whilst ensuring compliance to company policy and regulating authority standards.
- Lead investigations into incidents and non-compliance issues.
- Maximise the awareness of Quality focusing on continuous performance improvement in quality initiatives.
- From a Quality perspective act as focal point of contact with company clients, regulatory bodies and government agencies.
- Ensure effective measurement of safety performance, implementing audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, analysis and the design of corrective action learning processes.
- Act as mentor, trainer, advisor and communicator across the entire workforce creating maximum impact on the value of embracing positive QMS behavioural attitudes.
- Constantly act as a catalyst for step-change in safety behavior, attitude and performance, fostering excellent working relationships with other internal departments.
- Be prepared to challenge the norm and intervene proactively with line management on any breach of QMS policy or practice.
- Ensure effective contribution from a quality perspective in the preparation and presentation of bids and proposals.
- Assist in the delivery of company-wide Quality policies and procedures, supporting and implementing Group Quality initiatives where required.
- Coordinate internal Quality and HSE audits.
- Ensure that effective auditing tools, processes and resources are in place and are being effectively utilised to support that continuous improvement process.
- Develop reporting/tools in order to track audit findings and to investigate underlying themes and costs.
- Provide management reports which describe and provide measurement of the level of compliance being achieved, together with recommendations and proposed solutions in respect of compliance issues and problems identified.

Accountabilities: (Deliverables)
- Accounting in line with group requirements and UK/US GAA.
- Manage systems and controls in line with FET policies.
- Group HSE and Q strategies, policies and controls.
- QMS support to the group.
- Establish and maintain a system to meet the requirements of ISO 9001/APIQ1 and API6D monogramming.
- Implementation of an overall Quality plans and audit schedules.
- Prepare Company Quality/QMS reports.
- Reporting of Quality and QMS statistics against set objectives and targets.
- Motivate, coach and encourage all personnel in Quality matters.
Person Specification:
Education / Qualifications:
- Secondary school qualifications.
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
- APIQ1 Practitioner
Technical Competencies:
- Details knowledge of the principles and requirements of ISO standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of APIQ1.
Key Skills:
- Understanding of the health and safety obligations placed on employers under KSA law.
- Good computer literacy in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and Vision 2000.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Execute accurate Root Cause analysis and deliver findings.
Experience:
- Extensive management experience in valves manufacturing QHSE role.
- Previous experience of working in a project environment.
- Previous experience of working with low to medium volume production rates in a multi-discipline design, procurement, manufacture and T&C environment.
- Previous experience of multi-discipline manufacturing methods, machining and fabrication processes.
- Previous experience of continual improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods etc.
- At least 5 years’ experience of the application of Quality management systems in an APIQ1 certified facility.
- Previous experience of budgetary approvals
- Experience in API Q1 ISO 9001 Management systems
- Experience in API 6D API 6A Monograming
- Experience in welding inspections
- Well versed in Aramco valve specifications
QHSE Competencies:
- Maintain behaviour in compliance with Forum HSE requirements.
- Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour.
- Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate Supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
