Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and manage budgets, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for high-rise building projects.
• Evaluate and negotiate contractor and subcontractor claims and variations.
• Perform cost control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and verify interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Provide contractual advice and support to the project management and technical teams.
• Participate in tender evaluations, contract negotiations, and procurement strategy planning.
• Monitor project progress and prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure adherence to contractual terms, conditions, and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with strong exposure to high-rise building projects.
• Consultancy background is mandatory.
• Excellent knowledge of contract administration, FIDIC conditions, and cost management principles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in cost management software such as CCS, Candy, or similar is preferred.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage.
