Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Cost Estimation and Management:
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
  • Monitoring project costs, cash flow, and financial performance.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
  • Reconciling cost and value to date/forecast.
  • Contract and Procurement:
  • Preparing and negotiating contracts and subcontracts.
  • Managing procurement processes, including supplier and subcontractor selection.
  • Administering contracts and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing orders.
  • Assessing subcontractor payment entitlement.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:
  • Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align costs with design specifications.
  • Attending pre-contract meetings and ensuring timely completion of actions.
  • Providing guidance to junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Preparing reports, analyses, and other project-related documentation.
  • Analyzing data and providing recommendations to mitigate financial risks.
  • Keeping the management team informed of project performance.
  • Client Management:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Addressing client concerns and providing advice on financial matters.
  • Negotiating contracts and budgets with clients.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring timely completion of agreed actions.
  • Monitoring site instructions and identifying differences in scope of work.
  • Reviewing and processing new prices for work not included in the original scope.
  • Contributing to process improvement and innovation in cost management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,327.78 - ₹50,000.00 per month
