Role Summary
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Dubai-based infrastructure team. This role focuses on handling commercial and contractual management, cost control, and quantity surveying duties across major infrastructure and road projects. The position demands strong familiarity with FIDIC contracts, CESMM standards, and large-scale project execution in the UAE.

Position Overview
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee all quantity surveying tasks, including contractor payments, claims, cost control, and variations. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and internal supervision teams to ensure commercial processes are robust and transparent. This role is essential for successful contract administration and financial governance of infrastructure works.

What You ll Do

* Prepare, review, and process contractor payments, interim and final certificates
* Evaluate variation orders, new rate submissions, and change orders
* Draft and review contractual correspondence and claims documentation
* Guide junior QS staff in measurement principles and BOQ compliance
* Maintain variation logs, claims logs, payment records, and cost reports
* Coordinate with the supervision team to resolve commercial issues promptly
* Assist in preparing tender documents, reports, and pricing reviews
* Conduct re-measurements for completed works and assess contractor quantities
* Participate in cost planning, value engineering, and risk assessment activities
* Support commercial close-out, final account settlement, and audit preparation

Candidate Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
* MRICS certification is mandatory
* Minimum 15 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on contract administration
* Proficient in FIDIC contract conditions and CESMM measurement standards
* Skilled in using contract management and QS software tools
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in reviewing consultant and contractor claims and variations
* Able to perform under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior work experience in Dubai or UAE-based projects
* Approval from UAE government entities or RTA is a plus
* Previous experience in an international consultancy environment
