Responsibilities
  • Understands the Contract documentsand various standard forms of Contract (FIDIC etc.)
  • Undertakes quantities take-off asper the standard method of measurement (CESMM, POMI, etc.)
  • Prepares various PaymentApplications (Advance, Interim, Statement at Completion, Retentionrelease, Final Statement, Final Account); based on work done withdetailed measurements including variations/claims/ daywork, Materialon-site/off-site on monthly basis in coordination with the operationteam and in accordance with the Contract
  • Liaises with Client/Consultant forthe release of Payment Certificates within the stipulated time as per theContract
  • Identifies, notifies and submitsall Variations/Value Engineering/Cost proposal/ abortive works/Loss& Expense Claims, etc. along with full substantiations as per the Contract
  • Reviews variations received from varioussubcontractors for the Client submission, Internal variations with the subcontractors/scope gaps and substantiate in line with Conditions ofContract/Subcontract
  • Submits PC rate/PS adjustment,Final measurement in accordance with the Contract
  • Maintains and updates various logsviz. Payment application/ Variations/Claims etc.
  • Provides feedback on allcontractual correspondences to the Project manager
  • Drafts correspondences to the Engineer/Client/Subcontractoron all contractual matters in coordination with the project team
  • Prepares cash flow projections andupdate on monthly basis
  • Processes subcontractor Invoiceswithin the time frame; coordinates with the operation team for theirapproval on % progress
  • Notifies subcontractors in relationto all contractual & commercial matters in the project
  • Prepares and maintains logs for thesubcontractor's payments/variations/claims /contra charges etc.
  • Visits the project site on regularbasis to monitor & reports material wastage, resource idling, coordinateswith operation team, safety, quality, risks, and captures unforeseencosts
  • Prepares lesson learnt and updateson regular intervals to the management
  • Conducts weekly meeting with the Headof Department ad submits reports on time
  • Identifies, analyses, and developsresponse to commercial/contractual risks
  • Follows the requirements of Time,Cost, Quality, HSE, etc.

Performs all other duties as & when requiredand undertakes all assignments instructed by the Head of Department

Requirements
  • 10 -12 years of experience in GCCwith a similar position in Roads and Infrastructure projects only
  • Experience in post contractquantity surveying services
  • Proven ability in providingreports and commercial information
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressureenvironment
  • Strong English communicationskills
  • Deadline-oriented, analytical skills,etc.
