Job Summary

Island Tower Group of Companies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in construction and infrastructure projects within the UAE. The role involves full commercial and contractual management of projects, ensuring effective cost control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and extensions of time.
• Prepare, review, and certify subcontractor interim payments and final accounts.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC and UAE construction standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Provide commercial and contractual support to project and senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local construction regulations.
• Proven expertise in cost control, contract administration, and commercial management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling large-scale infrastructure or civil construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
