Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc QS) or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within construction projects
- Proven experience in contract administration and commercial management
- Extensive experience in both pre-contract and post-contract QS activities
- Strong experience in building projects; experience in infrastructure projects is an added advantage
- Experience in Oman/GCC region is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all quantity surveying and commercial aspects of the project
- Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
- Handle contract administration, including variations, claims, and payments
- Evaluate contractor submissions, variations, and interim payment certificates
- Monitor project costs and ensure budget control and cost efficiency
- Conduct value engineering and cost analysis to optimize project costs
- Manage procurement processes and support contract negotiations
Pre-Contract Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and budget estimates
- Assist in tendering processes, bid evaluation, and contract award
- Develop and review BOQs and tender documentation
Post-Contract Responsibilities:
- Manage measurement, valuation, and certification of works
- Handle variations, claims, and final account settlements
- Monitor project financial performance and cash flow
Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or similar standards)
- Proficiency in cost management tools and QS software
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Familiarity with local regulations and market rates in GCC/Oman

Pay: RO700.000 - RO800.000 per month
