Senior Relationship Manager - Mortgages

About the role:

To drive mortgage sales through third-party channels including real estate brokers, financial advisors, and institutional partners. The role focuses on expanding the bank’s mortgage portfolio by developing strategic relationships and ensuring high-quality customer acquisition.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Generate mortgage business within the ELITE segment to consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, with a strong focus on high‑value and relationship‑led propositions .
  • Self‑source mortgage business through personal industry networks, referrals, developer relationships, real estate agents, and high‑net‑worth customer introductions, reducing dependency on branch‑led sourcing.
  • Actively acquire New‑to‑Bank (NTB) ELITE customers and convert existing customers through structured relationship building and value‑based selling.
  • Cross‑sell relevant banking and wealth products (Elite banking, CASA, deposits, insurance, investment, and lending solutions) in coordination with RMs and product teams to maximize wallet share.
  • Clearly explain mortgage products, pricing, documentation requirements, application workflow, approval process, and disbursement milestones to ELITE customers, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
  • Liaise with customers pre‑ and post‑approval to ensure timely completion of documentation, valuations, legal formalities, and disbursements.
  • Ensure all mortgage applications are accurate, compliant, error‑free , and processed within defined turnaround times (TATs) , in line with ELITE service standards.
  • Maintaining MIS , ELITE pipeline tracking, conversion ratios, and regular management updates on sourcing, approvals, and disbursements


What We’re Looking For:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–5 years of experience in retail banking or direct sales (preferred)
  • Good understanding of banking products and services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local language is an added advantage
  • Cross-sell ratios
  • Compliance and documentation quality score
  • Customer satisfaction during onboarding
