Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Senior Reliability Engineer

Position: Senior Reliability Engineer

Location: San Jose CA 95131 (2350 Qume Drive San Jose, CA 95131)

Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension

Pay Rate: b/w $50 -$56/hr (depending on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team in San Jose. The role focuses on both new product development and sustaining engineering, ensuring the reliability and performance of system-level products.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reliability testing for new-age products (30%, system-level testing).
• Support sustaining engineering efforts (70%):
• 30% – updates and improvements on current platforms.
• 40% – reliability engineering work on legacy platforms.

Qualifications

• Education:
• BS degree in Engineering (minimum 5 years of reliability experience required).
• MS degree in Engineering (minimum 2 years of reliability experience required).
• Experience & Skills:
• Proven background in reliability engineering and testing at the system level.
• Strong experience in both new product development and sustaining engineering.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.
• Medical devices experience not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
