The Senior Research and Data Associate (Justice Programs) serve as the primary subject matter expert on data collection and analysis in support of program reporting efforts. They work independently, sometimes leading a team designing appropriate data models, visualizations, and predictive models to enable decision-making and support strategic goals and objectives. They are mission-focused, have great attention to detail, and like to improve how they deliver solutions to senior clients. They have at least 5 years of experience in researching, gathering facts, and using analytical techniques and evaluative methods to produce products used to make organizational decisions.

Hybrid Work Environment: Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where employees work at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. Candidates must live in the Washington, DC area on their start date, ready to work with their team.

Responsibilities

Consulting associates apply strong analytical and technical skills to help implement business solutions. They work closely with clients and internal teams to improve operations, solve problems, deliver strategic insights, and deliver solutions. Their responsibilities include:

• Support the development and implementation of methods to monitor, evaluate, forecast, and report progress toward achieving program goals and objectives to assist management in making data-driven decisions
• Work closely with other analysts to understand processes, develop analysis methodologies, and coordinate ongoing iterative development of analytical products
• Experience in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, AWS
• Interest in applying and learning new tools and technology such as artificial intelligence
• Collaborate closely with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
• Apply excellent research, analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
• Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in researching, gathering facts, and using analytical techniques and evaluative methods to produce products used to make decisions
• Experience in justice experience
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Experience with data analysis and software projects such as Tableau, Excel macros, SPPS, ArcGIS, Access
• Excellent skills in creating presentations and visualizations to share insights into data
• Strong communications and presentations skills and ability to present insights to clients
• Enthusiasm to collaborate with others and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
• Excellent work ethic in a dynamic, complex, and challenging environment and self-motivated with the ability to take on more responsibility quickly
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
• Ability to focus and pay attention to detail while remaining focused on a strategic, big picture objective
• Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in research or related area

Total Rewards: Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $76,000 - $90,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
