Senior RFP & RFI Proposal Writer Government & Federal Contracts – Dubai Office (Night Shift)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-time, Night Shift (aligned with Los Angeles working hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level RFP/RFI Proposal Writer to join our UAE office and support proposal processes for U.S. government and federal clients. You will work in close coordination with our Chatsworth, CA headquarters team of 4–6 procurement professionals, contributing to competitive submissions, improving win rates, and helping us win more U.S. federal contracts.
Training & Team Environment
RFP experience is required — you must know how to put a proposal together from start to finish.
No U.S. government contracting experience? That's okay — we will train you on U.S. federal requirements from A to Z. But you must come with solid RFP/RFI proposal writing experience and the ability to learn quickly, adapt fast, and catch on to new ideas with ease.
Working from our UAE office, you will collaborate daily with a dedicated team of 4–6 procurement professionals at our U.S. headquarters in Chatsworth, CA. Together, you will also conduct regular competitive analysis — reviewing competitors' winning proposals to understand what they did differently, why they won, and how we can apply those lessons to build stronger, more winning submissions.
We are looking for someone sharp, driven, and ready to hit the ground running. If you know proposals and you're a quick learner, we will take care of the rest.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the full proposal lifecycle from solicitation review to final submission
- Interpret complex U.S. federal RFP/RFI requirements and ensure full compliance
- Develop clear, structured, and persuasive proposal content aligned with FAR/DFARS requirements
- Collaborate with U.S. headquarters team to gather and refine technical and operational information
- Manage multiple concurrent proposals under strict deadlines across time zones
- Maintain and enhance templates, content libraries, and internal processes
- Review and analyze competitors' winning proposals to identify strategies and differentiators — using those insights to continuously improve our submissions and develop more competitive, winning RFPs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on RFP/RFI proposal writing experience — you must know how to build a proposal from scratch (this is non-negotiable)
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to absorb new information, catch on to ideas fast, and apply them immediately
- U.S. government/federal contract experience is a plus but not required — we will train you on U.S. requirements
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complete proposal submissions
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements
- Advanced English writing, editing, and formatting skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-timezone environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in U.S. government contracting, defense, or regulated security industries
- Familiarity with SAM.gov, beta.SAM, or GovWin bid platforms
What Sets You Apart
- You know RFPs inside and out and can build a winning submission from scratch
- You pick up new processes, tools, and ideas quickly and run with them
- Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline across complex submissions
- Ability to present technical and operational information in a clear and compelling way
- Proactive collaboration skills that bridge time zones and cultures
- You bring ideas to the table that make the whole team better
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Performance-based incentives tied to proposal win rates
- Key role in company growth and U.S. federal contract acquisition
- Flexible schedule with core overlap hours aligned to U.S. team
