Senior Safety Officer

We are seeking a Senior Safety Officer with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry within the UAE.

Qualifications:

-Monitor and assess situations.

-Responsible for monitoring workplace activities, ensuring that workers comply with company policies and UAE health and safety regulations.

-Oversee the comprehensive documentation of site incidents, safety inspections, internal audits, and minutes from safety committee meetings to ensure full regulatory compliance

-Develop and deliver comprehensive safety performance analytics

-Lead the coordination of emergency response simulations, significantly improving team response times and site-wide safety awareness

-Prepare and maintain detailed Risk Assessment Reports, Method Statements, and Job Hazard Analyses

-Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare reports with corrective/preventive measures.

-Maintain all HSE documentation and ensure records are updated and easily accessible.

-Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to plan safety measures for high-risk activities.

-Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on-site.

-Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and clients for site safety audits and inspections.

-Support emergency preparedness drills, first aid training, and evacuation procedures.

Requirements:

-NEBOSH Certificated Must required

-Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, engineering, or a related field

-NEBOSH IGC certification – required
