Senior Sales Associate

Job Description - Senior Sales Associate (SEN000468) Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in their purchase decisions by offering expert advice in compliance with quality and customer service standards
• Perform physical and electronic inventory of shop products on a regular basis as per Company guidelines in order to ensure accurate stock keeping, and inform the Manager of unavailable and nonperforming products
• Report occurring operational issues or problems in a timely manner, suggest solutions or elevate them as appropriate, ensuring operational effectiveness at all times
• Conduct on-the-job training and demonstration for new and existing employees within scope of work, and contribute to their professional development for increased performance and customer satisfaction
• Run daily Department meetings in order to ensure all Department activities, objectives and events are properly understood and communicated
• Communicate sales plans and targets to the Shop/Department team, assign routine and non routine tasks to Sales Associates, monitor performance on an on going basis, and suggest corrective actions to hierarchy when needed
• Watch for and prevent security risks and thefts, and elevate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert loss
• Verify that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean and tidy at all times, and replenish on a continuous basis the shop shelves in order to guarantee availability of products at all times
• Prepare staff schedule to ensure that the Shop/Department manpower is effectively matched to the shop's operational requirements in a cost effective manner
• Specific for Multimedia: Up sell and cross sell products and services in order to reach hourly and daily sales targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree is a plus
• Good knowledge and understanding of store operating procedures
• Good understanding of layout and visual merchandising techniques
• Strong knowledge of products available across departments
• 2 years of experience in retail is required
• 2 years of experience in retail is a must
• Proficiency in MS Office
