Job Summary
The Senior Sales Consultant – Kitchen & Wardrobe is responsible for managing end-to-end sales of modular kitchens and wardrobes, from initial client interaction to design finalization and deal closure. The role requires strong sales acumen, client handling skills, and design understanding to deliver customized solutions aligned with client needs, budgets, and space requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Handling
- Greet and attend walk-in clients at the showroom professionally.
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, space constraints, and budget.
- Present modular kitchen and wardrobe solutions, finishes, accessories, and hardware.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat and referral business.
- Handle high-value customers and premium projects independently.
Design Coordination & Solution Selling
- Create or coordinate initial kitchen and wardrobe layouts based on site measurements.
- Guide clients on:
- Layout planning (L-shape, U-shape, island, walk-in wardrobes, etc.)
- Material selection, finishes, shutters, carcass, hardware, and accessories
- Space optimization and functional design solutions
- Work closely with designers / 3D team for render development.
- Ensure designs meet client expectations and company standards.
Quotation, Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Prepare accurate quotations, BOQs, and cost breakdowns.
- Present pricing clearly and negotiate within approved margins.
- Close sales deals in alignment with company policies and targets.
- Ensure advance payments and documentation are completed on time.
Site Coordination & Order Execution
- Coordinate site measurements, final drawings, and approvals.
- Liaise with production, procurement, and installation teams.
- Monitor order progress and update clients regularly.
- Address client concerns during execution to ensure smooth delivery.
After-Sales & Customer Experience
- Ensure client satisfaction from order confirmation to final handover.
- Handle complaints, revisions, and coordination for rectifications if required.
- Maintain high service standards and brand reputation.
CRM, Reporting & Compliance
- Update all leads, follow-ups, and sales stages in CRM.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Follow company SOPs, pricing structures, and ethical sales practices.
Required Skills & CompetenciesSales & Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of modular kitchens and wardrobes.
- Knowledge of:
- Kitchen layouts, cabinet systems, accessories, and fittings
- Wardrobe internals, sliding/hinged systems, and space planning
- Ability to read basic drawings and layouts.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or related field.
- 5–6 years of experience in modular kitchen & wardrobe sales.
- Prior experience in premium showrooms or branded modular setups preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
