A dedicated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer is required to lead sales and business development for Power Products and Test, Measuring & Calibration (TMC) equipment. The role involves close coordination with international principals such as Merus Power (Finland), DV Power (Sweden), Hioki (Japan), T&R (UK), and EAT (UK), all of whom expect enhanced business, marketing, and promotional activities from 2023 through 2025 and beyond.
ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing
- Drive sales of Power Products, TMC equipment, and associated services including PQ studies, repair, and calibration.
- Focus on PQ Solutions such as APFC, AHF, Hybrid Solutions, Merus Power, and EV Chargers.
- Generate new opportunities, prepare proposals, and follow up diligently with customers.
- Conduct seminars, demonstrations, and technical presentations for potential clients.
- Prepare and lock-in technical specifications within tender documents.
Tendering & Commercial
- Monitor tender announcements through various channels and contacts.
- Prepare and submit tenders and techno-commercial bids within deadlines.
- Follow up on offers/bids and provide relevant technical and commercial clarifications.
- Share market intelligence with principals and negotiate favorable terms with customers/suppliers.
Project Execution & Services
- Upon receiving an order, manage project execution and coordinate with service or calibration teams.
- Support services such as Partial Discharge Survey/Monitoring, Power Quality Survey, Lab & Site Calibration, IR Thermography, and related services.
Qualifications & Experience, Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience in sales of Power Products and TMC equipment.
- Exposure to brands such as ABB, Schneider, Merus, Fluke, Megger, Doble, Hioki, or similar.
- Experience working with Middle East utilities such as Kahramaa, EWASEC, DEWA, ADWEA, OTC, as well as private industries and EPC contractors.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
- Specialized training will be provided as needed.

- Ability to manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to project delivery.
