Job Overview

Scaleup Connect is hiring a Senior Sales Executive on behalf of its client to drive revenue growth through structured lead generation, consultative selling, and proactive client engagement within the software and IT services domain.

This role is ideal for professionals with prior experience in selling software solutions, IT services, SaaS products, or technology-driven offerings, who can independently handle prospects while working closely with senior sales and technical teams to close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and digital platforms
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture prospects within the Software and IT industry
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client business needs, technical requirements, challenges, and budgets
  • Schedule and manage meetings, demos, and presentations with potential clients
  • Collaborate with senior sales managers and technical teams to support deal closures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and revenue targets
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance summaries
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience Required:

  • 2–5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in the Software / IT Services / SaaS sector

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in software, IT services, or technology sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, sales funnels, and consultative selling
  • Ability to clearly explain software or technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and performance-oriented mindset
