Responsibilities

➢ Strategically position profitable solutions with new customers with a focus on our NVOCC and Shipping Lines.
➢ The ability to generate new sales revenue independently.
➢ Assist in create a sales plan that successfully meets monthly sales goals and initiatives.
➢ Account Management to retain and grow current client base.
➢ Develop a database of prospective clients.
➢ Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
➢ Direct contact of prospective clients through personal visits and phone calls.
➢ Provide customer quotations with a follow up.
➢ Prepare daily sales report and Quarterly business plan.
➢ Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
➢ Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
➢ Maintain records of customer details / sales visits.
➢ Identify potential customers and register opportunities.
➢ Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
➢ Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
➢ Ensuring integrity & accuracy in all pricing matters.
➢ Extensive Market & Industry research to Identify new opportunities.

Knowledge & Skills

  • 2+ year of experience in Sales within a Shipping Line or NVOCC company.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent negotiation and selling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and Presentation skills.
  • Leadership, supervision and direction abilities.
