Sales Executive (Construction Chemicals / Dry Mix Mortars)
Experience: 2–5 Years (Sales in Construction Chemicals / Dry Mix Mortars / FMCG Industrial Products)
Education: MBA / BBA (Sales & Marketing focus preferred)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth in the construction chemicals and dry mix mortar segment. The role requires strong technical understanding of products (tile adhesives, plasters, skim coats, waterproof mortars, etc.) combined with proven sales skills to expand market share, manage key accounts, and build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction chemicals across contractors, distributors, and project clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, project managers, and procurement teams.
- Product Promotion: Present and promote products such as decorative plasters, tile adhesives, skim coats, and waterproof mortars to clients and partners.
- Market Expansion: Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and increase sales volume nationally.
- Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to understand product specifications and communicate technical advantages to clients.
- Key Account Handling: Manage negotiations with major retail chains, distributors, and project clients to secure long-term contracts.
- Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Training & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and training sessions for contractors and sales partners.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends to provide feedback for product positioning.
- Reporting: Maintain sales reports, pipeline updates, and client feedback for management review.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: MBA/BBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years in sales of construction chemicals, dry mix mortars, or related industrial products.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with additives (HPMC, RDP, pigments, defoamers, dispersants) and product applications.
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management abilities.
- Commercial Acumen: Understanding of pricing, margins, and promotional spends in industrial sales.
