Senior Sales Executive – Residential Solar

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, result-oriented Senior Sales Executive to lead our Residential Vertical in Nashik. In this role, you will be the face of the company, driving the adoption of rooftop solar solutions among homeowners and housing societies. You will manage the entire sales lifecycle—from initial lead generation and site assessment to closing the deal and ensuring a smooth transition to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively identify and engage potential residential customers through field visits, networking, and local marketing activities in Nashik and surrounding areas.
  • Technical Sales Consultations: Conduct initial site surveys to assess solar potential, understand customer energy needs, and explain the benefits of Solar EPC (savings, ROI, and environmental impact).
  • Proposal Development: Create and present customized techno-commercial proposals, including system design basics, pricing, and financing options.
  • Government Liaisoning & Subsidies: Guide customers through the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (or current subsidy schemes) and assist with MSEDCL documentation requirements.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on local competitor pricing, net-metering policies, and residential real estate trends in the Nashik region.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term rapport with customers to generate referrals, which are the backbone of the residential solar business.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Sales, preferably in Solar EPC, Construction Materials, Consumer Durables, or Real Estate.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech or BBA/B.Com). Technical background is a plus but not mandatory if you have strong sales acumen.
  • Local Expertise: Deep knowledge of Nashik’s geography (e.g., Gangapur Road, Indira Nagar, Pathardi Phata) and consumer behavior.
  • Communication: Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential; English is preferred for documentation.
  • Mobility: Must possess a two-wheeler/four-wheeler and a valid driving license for daily client visits.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, a "consultative" selling approach, and the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
