WHAT'S THE ROLE?


We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager – Riyadh, KSA, whose primary purpose is to drive new business and revenue growth for DXB LIVE’s portfolio of international exhibitions and events. You will strategically identify, engage and secure new local and international exhibitors and sponsors, ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This position plays a key role in supporting the overall success, growth and expansion of the exhibition division.


WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?


  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to meet and exceed revenue and space targets for assigned exhibitions.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new high-value exhibitors, international pavilions and sponsors through market research, networking, cold calling and industry events.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and pitch presentation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, industry associations and potential clients to encourage repeat business and gather market intelligence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for secured clients, ensuring a smooth handover to the Operations/Event Management team post-sale.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored, compelling sales proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the value of the exhibitions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and client data within the CRM system.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and industry developments to inform and adjust sales strategy.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market analysis to the Head of Business Development.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop promotional materials and digital campaigns aligned with sales objectives and targeted exhibitor sectors.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Event Management teams to ensure all client requirements, such as stand size, location, and special needs, are accurately fulfilled.
  • Participate in post-event review meetings, sharing detailed sales performance data and client feedback to inform strategy and improve future exhibitions.
  • Perform other duties as required, handling confidential information and matters with discretion and sound judgement.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within exhibitions, events, or B2B environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and managing high-value client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to travel locally and internationally as required.
