We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic sales associate to join our team and support future pet owners on their journey to finding their new best friend.
Position Description
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and energetic person to join our sales team. The sales associate will be expected to manage the initial interaction through to the point of adoption and consequently must be able to talk through all of the considerations of purchasing a pet including navigating objections.
This role is a performance based role with outbound call quotas, close rate targets and monthly goals. Candidates MUST have a sales and outbound calling experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound calling
- Daily call blocks and follow ups
- CRM management
- Availability - full time, will include weekends and evenings
- Achieving goals set out by Management
- Engage with prospective customers via phone, email, and chat to understand their needs and preferences regarding pet adoption.
- Provide personalized assistance and guidance to customers throughout the pet selection and purchasing process
- Engage with breeders to find the right match for buyers
- Stay organized and effectively manage follow ups so all potential buyers have the necessary information and support to make the best decision.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and all aspects of the sales process within our CRM.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of phone based sales experience, ideally some experience building or operating an end-to-end sales process.
- Excellent follow-through and follow-up. This is critical to the role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers effectively.
- Hyper organized when it comes to note taking and managing day to day
- Passion for dogs and cats and strong understanding of differences between breeds
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Ability to work remotely with demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and clear communication.
- Ability to use online communication tools such as a CRM software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary to accommodate customer inquiries and sales opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
