Senior SAP Integration/ABAP Developer - Remote/ Kuwait

Role Summary

Diyar is seeking a highly experienced and versatile Senior SAP Integration Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex integration solutions across our enterprise landscape. This critical role requires deep expertise in SAP's modern cloud-based integration platform, SAP Integration Suite (CPI). Furthermore, the developer must possess strong ABAP programming skills to facilitate seamless integration with the SAP S4/Hana system. The successful candidate will play a key role in our digital transformation, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior SAP Integration Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of integration development, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. This includes Integration Design and Development, where the developer will design, develop, and implement complex integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI) including adapter configuration and message mapping. A core requirement is ABAP Development for Integration, utilizing strong ABAP programming skills to develop and enhance integration-related objects within the SAP core system (e.g., BAPIs, RFCs, ABAP Proxies). The developer will engage in Collaboration and Analysis with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Finally, the role requires providing Troubleshooting and Optimization for existing interfaces and ensuring Documentation and Standards are maintained for all integration solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in SAP integration development.
• SAP Integration Suite (CPI): Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), including various adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, etc.).
• SAP BTP Services: Experience with other components of the SAP Integration Suite, such as API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors
• ABAP Programming: Strong proficiency in ABAP development.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-system integration issues.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

• SAP HANA and CDS: Knowledge of HANA modeling and CDS views for optimizing data access and service creation.
• PI/PO: has knowledge of in SAP Process Integration (PI) and/or Process Orchestration (PO), including configuration, monitoring, and development of integration scenarios.
• Cloud Security: Familiarity with cloud security concepts and protocols relevant to integration (e.g., OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS).
• Certification: SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Integration Suite or equivalent certification.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
