Senior School History Teacher- ICSE

We are seeking an experienced and passionate History Teacher for ICSE Grades 8, 9, and 10. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the ICSE curriculum, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students through effective and innovative teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History to ICSE students of Grades 8, 9, and 10 in accordance with the prescribed syllabus
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and interactive lessons
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment papers
• Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations as per ICSE guidelines
• Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports
• Prepare students thoroughly for ICSE Board Examinations (Grade 10)
• Use effective teaching aids, ICT tools, and real-life examples to enhance learning
• Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and professional development programs
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns
• Support school activities, events, and academic initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in History or Social Sciences
• B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in ICSE schools
• Strong command of ICSE History syllabus and assessment patterns
