Senior Secondary Political Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Political Science as per the prescribed senior secondary curriculum (CBSE/ISC/State Board, as applicable).
  • Teach core areas including Political Theory, Indian Constitution, Indian Politics, Comparative Politics, and International Relations.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans, case studies, debates, discussions, and assessments aligned with board examination requirements.
  • Guide students in project work, research assignments, and exam preparation.
  • Conduct periodic assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and informed civic awareness among students.
  • Integrate current affairs and real-world examples into classroom discussions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic performance and student progress.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, teacher trainings, school events, and academic meetings.
  • Adhere to school policies, academic standards, and child safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Political Science (mandatory).
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–6 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (preferred).
  • Experience in board examination preparation and evaluation is an added advantage.

  • Strong subject knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
  • Ability to engage senior students through debates, discussions, and case studies.
  • Student-centric approach with mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficient in using digital tools and smart classroom technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,949.33 - ₹44,963.47 per month
