Responsibilities (includes tasks and authorities)
- Act as the technical expert for the following solutions, providing end-to-end design, implementation, and management:
- F5 LTM, ASM, DNS, & APM - Full-cycle responsibility for application delivery, web application firewall (WAF) architecture, global traffic management, and access policy management.
- Palo Alto & Fortinet Firewalls - Comprehensive management of Next-Gen Firewalls, including architecture, security policy framework, and advanced threat prevention.
- Tenable Sc & IO - End-to-end vulnerability management, including platform setup, comprehensive scanning strategies, and advanced risk analytics.
- Invicti (Optional) - Lead web vulnerability scanning operations, from discovery to full remediation reporting.
- Manage the full project cycle for each solution:
- Data Gathering - Meet with customers to understand current setup, requirements, and systems involved.
- Documentation - Create and update High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents based on the findings.
- Deployment - Configure and deploy the solutions based on the finalized LLDs.
- Testing - Perform testing, validate policies, and fix any integration or configuration issues.
- Handover - Prepare runbooks and handover documentation. Train the customer team on how to use and maintain the solutions.
- Handle medium to large projects independently and ensure on-time delivery in customer environments.
- Adapt and Deliver: Handle various web application security solutions beyond the listed stack as market demands; be able to train and deliver on new technologies.
- Perform health checks for existing deployments and suggest improvements or additional use cases.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and work with vendors or support teams if needed.
