Senior SEO Specialist

About the Role

We seek a highly skilled and data-driven Senior SEO Expert to lead and scale our search engine optimisation efforts. This role will be critical in shaping our organic growth strategy, driving high-quality traffic, and improving overall search visibility. You’ll work cross-functionally with content, product, design, and engineering teams to ensure best-in-class SEO practices are integrated across all digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits
• Optimise website structure, on-page content, and technical elements for search engine indexing and crawling
• Collaborate with content teams to create high-quality, SEO-optimised content
• Work closely with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements (e.g., site speed, structured data, canonicalisation, mobile friendliness)
• Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Provide regular reporting on key SEO KPIs, including traffic, rankings, and conversions
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
• Lead link-building initiatives and manage external SEO vendors if necessary
• Mentor junior SEO specialists and provide strategic guidance across departments

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in a senior or leadership role
• Proven track record of improving search rankings, growing organic traffic, and driving conversions
• Strong understanding of both technical and content SEO
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex SEO insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
