Senior SEO SpecialistRole Summary
Own end-to-end SEO to grow qualified organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and convert visitors into leads/revenue. You’ll lead technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, build a content engine, and report impact with clear KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Keyword Growth & Content
- Own keyword strategy: opportunity sizing, clustering, and topical maps.
- Build and manage an editorial calendar (briefs, outlines, internal linking).
- Optimize pages for E-E-A-T, CTR (titles/meta), and featured snippets.
- Technical SEO
- Run regular crawls; fix indexation, CWV, site speed, schema, hreflang, canonicals.
- Collaborate with devs on Core Web Vitals and JavaScript SEO.
- On-Page & Internal Linking
- Implement entity-first on-page SEO (headers, copy, media, schema).
- Design scalable internal-linking frameworks and hub-and-spoke structures.
- Off-Page & Authority
- Plan white-hat digital PR, link acquisition, and brand mentions.
- Monitor backlink profile health and disavow when necessary.
- Local/International SEO (as relevant)
- Optimize Google Business Profile, local citations, and location pages.
- Manage hreflang and market rollouts for multilingual sites.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Define KPIs, build dashboards, and run A/B tests for CTR & UX improvements.
- Present monthly/quarterly impact and next actions to leadership.
Required Experience
- 5–7+ years in SEO with proven traffic and ranking lifts on medium/large sites.
- Strong command of technical SEO (CWV, crawl/index, JS SEO, schema).
- Hands-on with content strategy and editorial workflows.
- Comfortable with data: GA4, Looker/Datastudio, GSC, Excel/Sheets.
- Tools: Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Lighthouse, Surfer/Clearscope (or similar).
- Solid understanding of E-E-A-T, YMYL considerations, and link-earning tactics.
- Bonus: experience in automotive, multi-location, or marketplace SEO.
