Senior SEO Specialist

We’re seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to lead and scale organic search growth across high-traffic, multi-market websites. This is a hands-on senior position for an expert with end-to-end SEO expertise—covering developer-level technical implementation, content strategy, digital PR and backlink acquisition, and in-depth performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the full SEO roadmap: technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-site SEO.
  • Lead deep technical SEO audits and independently diagnose issues related to crawling, indexing, rendering, Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile optimization.
  • Work directly with developers on SEO implementations, including schema, hreflang, canonicals, redirects, URL structures, and JavaScript SEO.
  • Define keyword strategy, search intent mapping, metadata frameworks, and internal linking at scale.
  • Drive off-site SEO through high-quality PR backlinks, outreach, and authority building
  • Identify SEO opportunities tied to product launches, seasonal peaks, and new content initiatives.
  • Monitor Google algorithm updates and proactively adapt SEO strategy.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are embedded into new pages, templates, and features before launch.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Own tracking and analysis of SEO performance using data from Search Console, analytics platforms, and third-party tools.
  • Build clear SEO reports and dashboards focused on rankings, traffic, conversions, and Revenue impact.
  • Present insights, wins, risks, and priorities to marketing, product, and leadership teams.
  • Translate complex SEO topics into clear, actionable recommendations

Tools & Skills

  • Google Search Console (advanced usage)
  • Google Analytics / GA4
  • SEMrush or Ahrefs
  • Screaming Frog or Sitebulb
  • Excel / Google Sheets (strong analytical skills)
  • CMS platforms such as Magento, Shopify or WordPress
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective

Experience & Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on, core SEO experience
  • Strong experience managing SEO for large or multi-market websites (this is a must-have)
  • Proficiency in English, and Arabic Language is a plus
  • Proven ability to drive organic growth with a commercial and conversion-focused mindset
  • Confident communicator with solid presentation and documentation skills

  • 50-100% YoY growth in organic impressions across priority categories and markets 70%+ YoY increase in organic revenue driven by the channel.
  • Measurable improvement in top-10 and top-3 keyword positions for commercial, high-intent queries.
  • Reduction in recurring technical SEO issues and improved Core Web Vitals across key templates.
  • SEO embedded into product launches, seasonal campaigns, and roadmap planning
