Senior SEO Specialist (Results-Driven | Multi-Industry Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist with a proven track record of delivering measurable growth in organic traffic, qualified leads, and online sales.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience executing SEO strategies across multiple industries, with the ability to adapt to different business models, competition levels, and market conditions.

This role requires a data-driven SEO professional who can own the end-to-end organic growth strategy—from technical optimisation and content planning to performance tracking and scaling results.

Candidates must provide verifiable SEO results, including improvements in rankings, traffic, lead generation, or revenue impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Organic Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, leads, and sales
  • Create 90-day and 6-month SEO roadmaps aligned with business goals
  • Conduct competitor analysis and keyword opportunity research
  • Build scalable SEO frameworks for different industries
  • Continuously optimise strategies based on data and algorithm updates

2. Technical SEO

  • Perform in-depth SEO audits and implement improvements, including:
  • Site architecture & internal linking
  • Crawlability and indexing
  • Core Web Vitals & page speed optimisation
  • Schema markup & structured data
  • XML sitemaps & robots.txt
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues

Tools: Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights

3. Content Strategy & On-Page SEO

  • Develop SEO-driven content strategies (blogs, landing pages, service pages)
  • Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis
  • Optimise content for rankings and conversions
  • Build topic clusters and content hubs
  • Prevent keyword cannibalisation and improve internal linking

4. AI-Powered SEO & Modern Search

  • Use AI-based tools for keyword research, optimisation, and analysis
  • Stay updated with evolving search trends and algorithm changes
  • Implement AI-supported workflows for efficiency and scalability

5. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

  • Develop ethical, scalable link-building strategies
  • Execute outreach campaigns for high-quality backlinks
  • Monitor backlink profiles and remove toxic links
  • Identify partnership and authority-building opportunities

6. Local SEO (If Applicable)

  • Optimise Google Business Profiles
  • Implement location-based keyword strategies
  • Maintain local citations and NAP consistency
  • Improve local search visibility

7. Conversion-Focused SEO

  • Analyse user behaviour and engagement
  • Improve landing page performance
  • Collaborate with marketing/design teams to increase conversions

8. Tools & Analytics

Must be proficient in:

  • Google Analytics & Google Search Console
  • Ahrefs / SEMrush / Ubersuggest
  • Google Keyword Planner
  • Screaming Frog
  • SurferSEO / Frase (or similar)
  • Google Tag Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Keyword tracking & performance analysis
  • Traffic and behaviour insights
  • Conversion tracking and reporting

9. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and report on:
  • Organic traffic growth
  • Keyword rankings
  • Lead generation
  • Sales/revenue from SEO
  • Provide actionable insights and optimisation recommendations
  • Present performance reports to stakeholders when required

Required Experience

  • 4–7+ years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Proven success in increasing traffic, leads, and revenue
  • Experience managing SEO across multiple industries
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms
  • Experience with international markets (especially Australian clients) is a plus
